Below is a list of some of the things I experienced this weekend. Above is a picture of me wearing a t-shirt that says "I AM THE LADY OF THE HOUSE." The "AM" is in gold, while the rest of the letters are in silver. So the emphasis is on AM.

I witnessed love and a new marriage right in front of me
I ate a vegan corndog
I danced real hard at a fancy doctor party
I watched a downloaded copy of Bad Santa
I ate lots of cereal
I started listening to this 10-disc Steve Reich retrospective
I kept getting excited about where I'm going to live in a couple weeks
I practiced for the laptop battle
I woke up feeling physically destroyed
I drank hot wassail
I made Adam Forkner a resume
I watched 2 hours of a 3-hour NOVA special on the string theory
I got some really nice emails from people I don't know
I got really excited about Nirvana
I dreamt that there was a tick in my neck
I kept experiencing deep, deep synchronicities
(this means something big is going to happen in my life)
My friend Curtis got married. His reception was amazing; the best wedding reception I've ever been to. It was at house in SE. It was pretty punk. It had a small stage and a speakeasy in the basement where Steve DJ'd. Curtis and Laurel broke my heart.. so sweet. I didn't stay that long, but long enough to have fun and be with friends I don't get to see enough. Friends like Phil, Megan, Flint, Genevieve and Alex of Anacortes. GOOD FRIENDS.
After the wedding reception we rolled to a warehouse party where I got to see more friends that I want to roll deeper with. Julianne, Charlie, Giovanna, Eric. YOU ARE MY DOGS. I don't hang out with these guys enough. It stinks to almost exclusively see them in loud places where it's hard to talk.
Okay. Now I need to get down to business. I have some websites I need to design to make money to live in a place and eat a food. I feel real good and warm in my heart. Winter is feeling really nice to me. I like the cold and the rain. YOU JUST HAVE TO KEEP WARM. Snuggle harder. Stay at home more often. FIND YOUR CORE VIBE.
