It's a really beautiful day so far. The sun is out in full-force and there aren't any clouds at all to argue. I'm going to hop on my bike and run a couple errands before I start working on some music and design stuff. We're about half-finished with The Blow EP, and it sounds totally good. I'm really happy with the beat I made on the last track we recorded. This EP is going to have multiple "bangers" or "snap traxx" or "awesome songs."
The Xiu Xiu show was really good, I like that Xiu Xiu a lot. Jamie and Caralee are very nice dudes. If you like Xiu Xiu, then you should probably order the Parenthetical Girls 12" LP. Xiu Xiu Jamie mixed one side of the record.. the "weird" side. You'll be able to buy it from States Rights Records very soon. I mean, you can email Steve and order it right now if you like. You should! It's only $10.
Stay tuned for some small YACHT shows in March. I'm trying to focus on playing in unconventional places like Manzanita, OR and houses in Portland. Oh, wow. I just checked out a website about Manzanita and apparently the city trademarked the phrases "Pack Your Smile If You're Planning On Coming!"™ and "The City That Smiles"™. Weirdos.
Ha ha! It's true, though I'd like to think of myself as more of a 'glass half full' type of lady.
(The secret, is that Jona is totally in jail.) (That's why he stopped drinking soda, because they don't allow it, where he's at! Which is a special wing for the chronically smushy-types with forehead hair swoops. That is why Zac is in there, too.)
seething with jealousy. i had to walk home in the SNOW yesterday and i was told it doesn't stop snowing here until april. i almost cried.

Your photo makes it look more like "Beautiful Day in Medium-Security Facility."
