Our show was set up through our friends Jab Mica Och El and their amazing art school, Det Jyske Kunstakademi. As I understand it, there are only 40 students that go here, and it's an art and music school. They have a really nice space that's set up sort of like a commune with a kitchen, rooftop and all kinds of art/work spaces. It's really nice. I would love to live and work here. I guess there's also a recording studio down the street that's free to use, so we might mess around there a little but later today.
The show @ Splab was very, very, very warm and cozy. The space is small; the perfect size for a small, loving crowd, and that's exactly what we got. Rob played his best set of the tour. He has this new song that I like so much.. "ooh, ooh, on my own." So good. The crowd sang and clapped so loud right from their hearts. Arhus really knows how to treat a truck-load of dirty dudes. The Wrists + Pistols got everybody all riled up and clapping, too. The whole night just kept building and building until we made a fire in the courtyard-y area and roasted chocolate-filled bananas on top of it. I'd never heard of chocolate-filled bananas, but they make perfect sense.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Bjarke, Michael, Jonas, Per, Tanja and everyone else here for making our stay feel so good. They made us dinner and breakfast and put on a show for us and made a fire and stuff and other stuff. We love you guys so much. THANK YOU.
PS- They have a battery charger here!!! YAY! I charged my batteries and made movies! HOORAY.
