Photo: I just replaced the temporary image I had up here. This is a photo from my set at the Copenhagen show on the 25th of June. I think I'm singing or something.. on the ground.

Woah.

From Scotland to London to the Malmo airport to the bus to Copenhagen to the bus to Oslo, back to the bus to Copenhagen, to the church show on Møllegarde to the train to Århus to the train back to Copenhagen. Crazy traveling. Crazy. It doesn't stop there, either. I'm writing this entry from an amazing flat in London. "Flat!" Yeah, yeah. Will Wrists' good friend Nick came with us on our trip back to Denmark and left us in Århus. Nick is such a nice man. I hope I get to hang out with him more in my life.. I totally feel like I will, which is awesome. Nick hooked us up (all 7 of us) with a place to stay that rivals the best places I've ever stayed. We've really, really lucked out with staying at amazing apartments, houses, flats, etc. on this tour.

Right now I'm watching Wimbledon on the television at Miranda's house here in Notting Hill. Miranda is Nick's amazingly hospitable girlfriend.. not everyone can put up with 7 stinky boys.. thank you! Thank you! Nick, Miranda! AHH! Thank you!

Okay, more on those two later.. back to Copenhagen. So after our show in Oslo we hit the bus back to Copenhagen. I know, this entry should be before the Århus entry, but too much was happening, and we went back to Copenhagen and stayed another two nights, so it deserves another entry all of its own.

Conclusion: I love Denmark and I love Copenhagen.

I love Mikkel and Helén so much. They are incredible people. Mikkel is going to be on tour in the east and midwest US in October. If you live somewhere in that vague area; go see him play. Mikkel, thank you so much for letting us stay with you and your sweet cats! Your flat is such a warm and mellow zone.. I wish I could live there with you. Also, I'm really sorry that I didn't pay attention to the laundromat closing and my clothes getting locked in the washer.. I was so embarrassed to be wearing all of your clothes when you came home. Luke was embarrassed to be sleeping at 3 PM when you came home.. were are bums.

I love Nis B, Nis S, Boris, Andreas, Düreforsög and the whole crew. The show at the church on Møllengarde was one of the best vibes I've ever felt. So many flowers, so many people.. such a good feeling! THANK YOU.

I fell in love in Copenhagen. It's probably not cool to name-names, etc.. but yeah! My plan is to marry this woman and grant each other dual-citizenship. Wait, is this even cool to mention? This is supposed to be a website for a band, right? Ut-oh. Anyways, I'm learning to speak Danish.

The day after our Århus show Denmark was playing the Euro 2004 and I felt so gross and dirty. The other boys went to a party, watched the game, played football and basketball then came over to Mikkel's house to pick me up. I went straight to Mikkel's from the train and took a shower, failed at the laundromat and wrote some emails. The boys came over around midnight and we went to a dub-night at a club pretty close to Mikkel's house and the church we played at a couple days earlier. I danced a ton, drank some weird drinks and stayed up all night long.

The next day we met up at Nis B's house and Pablo Wrists and Brenden Wrists made us (15 people strong) a huge feast. There was all kinds of fish and junk; I ate awesome avocado/rice/potato burrito-things. Man, I've been eating a lot of avocado in the past 4 days. BEST FOOD EVER. Rob picked up a bag of 6 VERY rip 'cados for £1. Good deal. Okay, I'm getting way off-track.

In summary: I really love Denmark and my new friend in Denmark.. I'm going to try and go back very soon. It looks like I'm going to be playing drums in Devendra Banhart's band, with my vibe-guide Adam Forkner on bass, for an October/Europe tour.. maybe we'll go to Denmark then? We'll see. I'm so, so, so excited to play drums and tour with this nice man, and this other nice man I haven't met; this boy Andy from a band I really like called Tussle. So excited. So much love.

I'm sorry if this is all jumbly.. I'll make a concise, informative (but not too stiff) entry for you after we play in Leeds tomorrow. Is that cool enough?

KEEP YOUR WORDS SOFT AND SWEET - YOU MAY HAVE TO EAT THEM
