I had planned to take our day off to build this new version of this website and to rest and make some music.. instead I got real sick and puked all over the place. Above is a photo of all of the items my nice tour-mates went out and picked up for me. Shout-outs and thank-yous to:

Adam Forkner : for bringing me puke and poop medicine.. and that can of Sprite that you drank.
Kyle Field: for the Sprite and Krits crackers (yes, they are just like Ritz)
Devendra Banhart: for the aspirin and awesome Jamaica button.

I stayed in bed and slept so many damned hours yesterday. I'm rarely sick.. once a year if I'm cursed.. one every two or three years regularly. I'm feeling almost 100% better now after catching an ungodly amount of sleep. I was a little wiggly and weak today, but it seems to have faded.

Today we finished up our last practice at the rehearsal space and, let me tell you, we are ready. I'm really excited and a teeny bit nervous for our first show tomorrow at Moby Dick. The other night we went to see TV on the Radio play and to check out the venue. Those guys are pretty nice and the guitar dude and I took a picture of our similar tattoos.. maybe I'll post a picture, but I'm increasingly embarrassed of this certain tattoo.. I'm sure my friends that read this will expose this tattoo in great printed detail in the comments section of this site in no time, so don't worry if you were once worried just a few moments ago.

Okay. I think that's it for now. Maybe I'll add some other stuff later, but right now I'm really feeling like watching this DVD of The Big Lebowski over on Adam's computer. My combo drive on this laptop is busted and Apple won't fix it. It's technically out of its warranty, but they fixed this same problem when it was under warranty and it broke again.. they should fix it, right?

Oh, in other news. I guess Mt. St. Helens is going to erupt again! Today? So crazy. Here is a webcam that updates every 5 minutes. (Thanks to John Wackness for that link)

In other, other news, I made a new track out of some recordings we did at the practice space. This is a song called "It's Just Music" and it's 3.1 MB. We recorded some new versions of Devendra's old songs and a couple new ones, including a Christmas song that's going on a split 7" with White Magic. I'm really excited about it. I want to play a lot of drums for Devendra.

In other, other, other news I designed a new tour t-shirt for this Devendra Banhart/Queens of Sheeba tour we're on right now.. I think we'll see them tomorrow! Here's the design
