Cool, cool. Feel that.

I leave you with an unedited video of three minutes of our last, last song live from Shepherds Bush Empire Theater in London. It was a sold out show at a breathtaking venue.. I'd never seen anything like it. There were over one thousand people at the show.. what? There was very formal seating and three balconies packed with people. During the last few songs some of the seats cleared and people came right up to the stage. Spleen pulled people on stage. It was all around a-w-e-s-o-m-e.

Kyle cried for most of the night... Coco Rosie played a really soft and sweet show. I love them. I love and miss my new family so much! It was such a nice month-long journey and I couldn't have had a better time. Thank you. Thank you.

Now I spend three days in Portland before embarking on a massive tour with YACHT & The Blow. We're touring together until we hit New York City then I'm touring back through the south playing YACHT shows. Here we go. Portland, I'll see you around December 15th.

Truly,
Jona

Was that the rerecorded version of Changes with Kelly Osbourne on it?? I <3 KELLY! Her new TV show "life as we know it" (purposely lowercase) is so awesome.

In other news, it's so great you are in Portland for a couple days! The show tonight was so rad!

what a weird life what a weird tour i felt like i was taken on a cloud and floated up to deep european heaven for a month. pure bliss
the family got tight and deep and by the end we were rolling like a pack of cheetahs like sly and the family like a bunch of freedom children.
but im happy to be back in rainy old portland with my lady tripping on jet lag
its sad to say goodbye to so many new deep friends
but its good to see my old friends

when does the DVD come out, is what i wanna know
also
bootleggers need to send us copies of any shows that were recorded, for real. for the memoirs

love

Adam Forkner @ October 24, 2004 4:45 AM

jona london was beautiful, i wish i had brought my opera glasses to see your faces and maybe kyle's tears from that top balcony, "The Gods", but the sounds were excellent and we could just about make out the dancing forms of the audience onstage. i'm so glad i made it down to the city for that final show on your tour. i liked it when the lights went crazy and the room was spinning. i wish it was all still to come. next year????

i have just made the cooolest pumpkin ever!, its a kinda tribute to kyle, andy devendra or anyone with a decent beard really, i thinking of making it a rainbow scarf but flamable items may not be a good idea, im either gonna call it phycadelic pumpkin or sheeeba, any good sudjestions for a good bearded pumpkin name would be welcomed

eppie @ October 24, 2004 7:40 AM

My little Jack dude just made a jack'o lantern out of colored 'crystal' illuminated pegs- with a giant green cluster on the chin. He named him Mr. Fat Beard, and carries him out to the back porch every time he hears the cats scuffling- to 'make them like each other better'.

Most amazingly BEAUUUUTIFUL gig I have EVER been to...and I've been to loaaads. I was feeling the rays of love right up there on the balcony and showering you all with good vibes. Thank you Devendra...and all the Sheba dudes. Hope y'all come back to the UK again soon...perhaps I can tempt you back with the promise of more Makers Mark? X

Janie @ October 25, 2004 5:53 AM

I'll have to agree with Janie there, such a fantastic gig & definately the best I've been too!! So many cool people up on stage & especially cool to see Kyle...(being a huge Little Wings fan)!!! Hopefully the Queens of Sheeba with rise again in London Town....!!!!
