Currently I'm back at "home" in Portland, Oregon, looking for an apartment somewhere close to something. It's very, very crappy outside today and the search for a living space feel like a huge, daunting task. Amelia flew to the deep northeast to spend time with her family and I already miss her. I can't wait to wake up somewhere familiar in a way that only living in your own space can feel. I can't wait to start working on the new Blow full-length, the new YACHT full-length and the YACHT super-duper-limited-edition Twenty Bees 7". On top of that stuff I want to record some stuff with Bobby Birdman and make a Little Wings album with Kyle. I'm feeling this recording-hole vibe.. like staying in for the winter and just getting stuff done.
Speaking of new music... I have a weird treat for you. This isn't any kind of shining example of a YACHT Holiday original.. more like a test to see how fast I could make a Holiday song for this website. Nonetheless, it's a present.. for YOU!
