Happy-New-Year.jpg

I spent most of 2004 out of my home and out of my home city. I spent a lot of time meeting new friends, playing music with new friends and driving or riding in automobiles. I fell in love. I missed my friends. 2004 was an amazing year for me. 2005 is going to be different... better in a lot of ways and a lot more of Portland time. I'm working on a new YACHT full-length and as soon as Khaela gets up in here we're going to make a new full-length Blow album. HIT FACTORY. I'm not even kidding.

Cabel just posted a movie of his hotel party I was at. Look for the person in the blue coat jumping on the bed. OH WOW. It seems as though there's a very different take on the hotel party.. Let's see how their night went over at Urban Honking.

Let's take a step back for a minute. While on both the SUNSET COMBINATION and MEGA tours I started collecting regional soda pops for my friend Steve with the idea of having a "tasting party" in mind. Here you go, friends:

Like a lot of people right now.. I really love M.I.A., so much. I love her even more after seeing this video for her song Sunshowers. (You'll need Real Player to view it)

I'm sure you've seen a lot of this by now but that doesn't make it any less important. The Indian Ocean tsunamis.. I can't believe how horrible.. Please, if you have any money at all to donate, DO IT:

American Red Cross International Response Fund

AmeriCares South Asia Earthquake Relief Fund

Direct Relief International International Assistance Fund

Médecins Sans Frontières International Tsunami Emergency Appeal

Oxfam Asian Earthquake & Tsunami Fund

Sarvodaya Relief Fund for Tsunami Tragedy

Save the Children Asia Earthquake/Tsunami Relief Fund

Truly,
Jona

Another beverage that is possibly even more "South Carolinian" than Cheerwine is Blenheim's Ginger Ale. My grandfather drinks it.

unicef takes 80%+ of donation money for itself.
i can't really trust an organization that pays to have it's commercials broadcasted all over when new stations and everyweb site ever is already sending word out for free.
