Old man travel kicks my bum once again. Friday night I left Portland with World around 7PM, got to Olympia and picked up Calvin, then rode to SeaTac to catch a flight to New York that ended up being delayed until 1:30AM. We got into JFK around 9:30AM and got into a mini-van that took us out to the Woodstock/Saugerties area, somewhere I've never been before.

So far it's been a really warm and cozy family vibe here. Devendra is in the city visiting Bianca for her birthday and we're here just chilling out with Devendra's Dad, Andy, Noah and a couple of nice friends of Andy's that just took off. We're making food, playing cards, listening to records and lighting fires. So mellow.

Today is a special day; Adam Forkner turns 29! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!

(15.2 MB - VIDEO MP4)

Stay tuned for some recording movies and photos from Bearsville.

When I get back home on the 9th I'll have a special treat for you:

More hand-drawn MEGA 10"s by Khaela Maricich, Adam Forkner and one very special one by Calvin Johnson. These ones are so good. I really like the collaboration between Adam and Khaela. Real interesting and good.

seriously though, are you ready for another Sarah Lawrence experience? The show will be in a new, bigger space that we just painted blue. It'll be like a rave. You bring the leprechauns, we'll supply the rainbows.
