So all of a sudden I'm in New York. Since I've been in Portland I've been working like mad on all of my friends' computer-related projects like Zac's new CD layout, Steve's new music distribution company, Mike's new blog design, Claire's amazing new blog, Ritchey's new blog design, etc. Woah, I sort of lost my train of thought due to this amazing floor cleaning chemical I just accidentally inhaled. Fug, man.
I really didn't want to come here on Wednesday. I had booked a flight for Wednesday thinking that I would have everything ready for these three shows and I could just hang out for a mellow evening and then play on Thursday, play on Friday, and then fly to Los Angeles on Saturday for a week long visit with Claire, Ritchey, and Rob before I fly back to Portland and play a show at Holocene with Fleshtone. I realized that I'm the kind of person that waits until the very last minute to complete projects like this. This is a good thing to realize and consider for future project work I do. Yeah, I got stressed out and that's no way to hang out. Nothing short of natural disaster, etc., should stress us humans out. Nothing matters, right? So anyway, I called Southwest Airlines around midnight to change my flight for 7AM to the next day, Thursday.. turns out that flight was completely sold out. Now if I were a person with the concept of "money" I would have just canceled the flight and booked it with another airline. Since I'm not the aforementioned person and I only have credit with Southwest from a previous cancellation due to the last minute television trip to Paris I took with Amelia in September. I had to buck up and just force myself to be ready to leave in 6 hours. I did it and now I'm here and I'm nervous for this show tonight at Monkeytown.

Flight Breeze
(5.7 MB - VIDEO MP4)
The song "Bummer Breeze" appears courtesy of Bobby Birdman. You can hear the full version on his MySpace Profile and on the CD version of his EP Giraffes & Jackals due out on States Rights Records in April.
I've been staying with my true homie Dave Longstreth here in Williamsburg and it's been nothing but a pleasure dog. Ever since I heard this song "Imagine It" off his forthcoming album on Marriage Records called "New Attitude," I can't stop singing it and applying it to day-to-day life. It's not unlike my love and use of "I Saw The Sign" by Ace of Base. Here's the chorus; the part I have in my head so much:

Now you can send me email and text messages through these simple jams on the INFO part of this site. HOLLA!
Woah, check this out.
Pretty video. What was the music? I didn't recognise it, but it were Right Good and I'd like to know who made it.
xx
Ahhhh, right: read the text ...and thus the secerts of his heart are revealed!
As with many more of life's questions, the answer I seek is 'Bobby Birdman'. Was that information always there?! Have I just betrayed a shameful cursory reading of these blog entries, or - worse still - is my reading comprehension really that bad so as I missed it entirely on the first sweep?
Regardless - thanks for the infosss!
AO JO, No, I added that for you!
Have you guys seen that trailer for the Daniel Johnston movie? It looks so good!
Yes! it looks great! I wish I would of heard about it later, so I wouldn't feel so bad that its not coming out this month!
