First and foremost, thank you to Vice Cooler for being one of the deepest and truest vibe guides, hosts, babysitter, meal coach, and just awesome dude to these dudes on tour. Thanks to him, we've had three of our most positive SF-based outings: 1) Amazing secret concrete slides in a Castro neighborhood that you can rip down on a piece of cardboard at like 75 MPH, 2) a magical Burning Man island built on a former landfill, covered in folk art and cool dogs, and 3) the EXPLORATORIUM. Have you guys been to the Exploratorium in San Francisco? It is a magic place. There is a personal multicolored LED vibe-dome there whose serenity has to be experienced to believed.
We're starting to keep track of all of our meals on tour, mostly because we realized that our extensive knowledge of secret/ delicious vegan spots all over the US might be a pretty good resource for other travelers. One day we hope to compile it all into one handy PDF and merch table handout for our touring and traveling homies.

Thanks to Curtis for the holding the flash video idea! It's fucking 2007! What an epic New Years Eve show for us, guys. Check out more pictures from Tigerbeat6, and this really radical shot of DAT Politics that Steve took. I'm not so much into posting photos here anymore since Flickr has come along. Follow our photostreams here: Jona, & Steve.
Next up: Day 3 & 4 in ONE entry. SEE YOU SOON!

speaking of pretzels and the exploratorium...
in fifth grade I went on a field trip there and bought a giant pretzel from a food vendor. the next day I got really horribly god awfully sick with a nasty flu. I thought the pretzel was to blame at first, but looking back on it I think it was just a coincidence.
you went to the museum of science & industry in chicago right, jona? did you ride the coal train?

I was hoping you saw that Jona!!!!!!!! rRrad......
