After the New Year's Eve bash at 21 Grand, we had a much-appreciated day off. Not yet tired of the Bay Area's many restaurants, we dined like kings. It's a rare pleasure to actually have time to visit and relax in a city when you're on tour; San Francisco was kind to our minds and bellies.
This was also an especially fruitful period for jokes; it turns out that the High Places, seemingly so chaste, are capable of elevating the art of sophomoric joking to a new and highly sophisticated level. The trend of excellent humor continued from then on. You, dear reader, may experience this second-hand via the Check Your Inbox Day 3&4 video, available below!
The show after New Year's Day was at the Hemlock Tavern with Must Have No Magic, a Chen/Cooler prog-noise band, to an enthusiastic audience of beer spillers. Many friends were present, old and new.
