Poor Aim: Love Songs was originally curated by two of my friends that decided to start an EP series together back in 2003 and still, to this day, continue in the tradition of the concept and production of what they call "The Pregnancy Series." Basically the idea is that they ask an already established band to record an EP of songs in a way that is out of character in some sense. I just realized that you can read about the original release in this entry I wrote in October of 2004. In short it was a limited edition release, it sold out real quick, we released it on vinyl with K, and now we're finally re-releasing it on CD with 6 remixes by me, Lucky Dragons, Strategy, Khaela, and White Rainbow.
It's being released on K Records on April, 24th. Look out for it!
I'm playing a few shows around the NW in the next few weeks. There is an especially important show this weekend here in Portland, Oregon that you should try to attend. Check out LIVE to learn more.
Also, I decided that I'm going to play SXSW. I've never been to SXSW and I'm stoked to be able to get in at the last minute. As of right now I have two shows and I'm planning on playing as many as possible. 1000 shows in 3 minutes, guys. See you there!
