Here we go! Oklahoma! Kansas! Texas! Some places I've been many a time and others I've never ventured to, for one reason or another. This one is for the books, and by "this one" I mean "everything that's happening right now." I'm touring on a huge scale and on a very very small scale, 1400 people one night, and 49 the next. Ying and Yang. Yon and Yim. Kevin and Derrick.
Food places to remember for future reference/vegan tour guide: Sage's Cafe in Salt Lake City, City, O' City and WaterCourse in Denver, and the Shangri-La Diner in St. Louis. AMAZING PLACES! "Pulled Pork" sandwich!? So good!
Salt Lake City brought some campfire ghost stories, Denver reunited us with old homies (What's up Sam and Chris?) over unreal seitan buffalo wings, and St. Louis -- who knew? -- told us that dancing feet can be taught to march. Did you guys know that you can actually go inside of the St. Louis arch? I'm not kidding. It's a hefty ten dollars, but I bet it's worth it (we were too scared).
Last night I played in Denton, Texas to a small but very fucking awesome crowd. A kid brought some sparklers, lit them up, and handed them out during "See A Penny." It was one of the best show moments I've had in a long time. The room quickly filled up with sulfuric smoke and I imagined the club burning down, Great White-style, but the back door was open and the smoke cleared pretty quickly. After the show the kid that brought the sparklers told me about being arrested for a fireworks charge a little while ago and how it was booked as a terrorist act! FUCKING AMERICA!
After the show last night we went to a college dorm zone that had been converted from a motel, with outdoor pool and everything. We jumped in the pool around 2am and the water was a *little* unfriendly, but overall deeply refreshing. Very nice people in Denton! You guys!
Here's a couple clips and trips down memory lane from these most recent tours:

Video on YouTube, Virb, and Vimeo as well.
In the next couple of months, we are going to be everywhere. We're meeting up with the homies Tussle tonight in Houston, rolling with them all the way up the Western seaboard, then -- after ONE WEEK off -- hitting the road again with LCD Soundsystem (in LA for two already sold out shows), and the wonderful Architecture in Helsinki. Bonkers! You can keep tabs on all the shows right here.
Thanks to everyone for everything!
What was the pulled pork made from? As a Southerner, I am very deep into pulled pork and would love to try a vegan alternative.

See you at the Ché Cafe Show!
