Super thanks to Ian Lynam and Selena Hoy for taking us in for our 4 days off in Tokyo! We had an awesome time and hope that we have the chance to host you and make you awesome eats someday! Thanks for taking us to so many cool shops and introducing us to amazing foodstuffs like the rice burgers from Mos Burger!
Double thanks to Fumi and Rallye Label for bringing us to Japan and putting out I Believe In You. Your Magic Is Real. in Japan! Check out the Japanese version packaging! You can buy the Japanese version here and learn about it here.
Since we've been back in Portland it's been non-stop fun, action, errands, and jokes. Now we're headed up to Anacortes for What-the-Heck? Fest #6, for some more non-stop fun, actions, errands, and more jokes. Then we're off to Australia for two tours, one with locals (and all around radical fucking rulers) Architecture in Helsinki, and then one with my dear fellow Portlander, Panther.
On a more nostalgic note, remember when no-wave made a comeback? Yeah, 2004. Charlie-Panther, Bobby Birdman, White Rainbow and I made an joke-album back then called WHITE GLASS II making fun of said "movement," and what we did in a couple hours could actually sound comparable to the bands that took themselves seriously... to some people. Here's a track we made in 2004 called "We've Been On This Trip For Years." No one else can find the 7 other songs we made, but maybe Charlie still has the reel in his basement.
I remember this track on the SRR website. Brings back senior year memories. 2004 was the year I first found your lovely pink website, and saw you and Bobby Birdman in an Ann Arbor basement...
