Tonight was the last night of my European tour with Architecture in Helsinki. So far we've toured the US, Australia, and Europe together and it's been about 100 to 300% fun. Some bands were just meant to be friends, both socially and musically, and I think we've really got something here. Also, they have a double-decker bus. Yeah, check it out. I mean, they don't have it, like OWN it, but this is how we rolled. We packed it to capacity and rolled 14 strong.
Expect to see some collaborative releases both musical and miscellaneous sometime within the next year or so. You heard it here first! We're thinking BIG.
I'm flying to China tomorrow! I don't have a visa yet, but the Chinese Embassy in Zurich told me that I could get one at the airport in Hong Kong. So that's it, I'm flying to Honk Kong via Dusseldorf via Dubai tomorrow. I've researched the visa process online and it looks like I'll be at the airport for a upwards of 5 hours waiting for a visa. Wish me luck, dear readers. Wish me luck. In this time of infinite touring, I need your spiritual guidance, tender love, and optimism. It's a thin line I walk here, folks. I could go nuts.
Sorry Beijing! Visa stuffs forced me to cancel the Beijing dates, but I PROMISE YOU that I'll be back soon enough!

Soooo, you playing any shows in Portland while youre here? After all, you are on tour forever... That will necessitate preforming forever everywhere you go. Oh and Portland is a big, glowing ball of love for you, ifn you dont already know.

Saw you play at the Yue Festival in Shanghai, this is how my thoughts evolved.
Stage 1 - confusion - what is this guy doing?
Stage 2 - bewilderment - I see what he's doing but I still don't understand
Stage 3 - more confusion - I think I quite like what I'm seeing / hearing, but I don't know why
Stage 4 - acceptance - this guy rocks and I don't need to understand why
Stage 5 - visions of the future - complete and utter world dominance for Yacht in about 6 months
Stage 6 - smug satisfaction - in years to come I'll be able to tell people I saw you before you were uber-famous
Loved the q and a section, and the fact that you were literally playing the music through a laptop.
